Summary of Receipt

Manager 4, Manager 5 and Employee 44A head over to IRIS. Manager talks to 44A about a possible counterargument that Lludd could have made in the trial, and then Lludd does exactly the same the next day. So she’s probably a really good eavesdropper. Anyway, apparently IRIS needs Lludd to be a boogeyman to maintain control over her judgement - if not, the CaD can take over the case. So the Managers’ goal right now is to prove Lludd isn’t a boogeyman. 5 seems to think that if Manager 4 and 44A find a brass horn, that'll sort out the case.

Manager No. 5

Right, well that is something “other”, innit? I just got done with the first round of ‘earings into the case of Mrs. Lludd. Nasty little Barney Rubble, she is. I think our suspicious are correct, see that Mrs. Lludd, she isn’t a demon or cryptid I’ve ever seen. And she has this uncanny knack for eavesdropping. For example, me and Big Bloke and Roufyrouf were seein’ the sights on Wednesday, right? And you know I fancied a bit of a rin tin tin wag about the case, how it’s going, what we Barristers were plannin’ next, you know, stuff you shouldn’t say outta the courtroom but you say anyway because gosspin’ is right fun to do. Next day in court, little twit countered the argument based exactly on what I said to Roufyrouf.

Ehhh? You see what I’m gettin’ at ‘ere? Yeah? Loves ‘n kisses Lludd’s ‘earing is out of this world. Practically otherworldly, innit? Now I’ve still got a heap of work to do on this case, especially considerin’ I know what I need to do but I don’t know where to find it, choice? That actually reminds me, if Mrs. Lludd isn’t a chuffin’ boogieman, IRIS has no jurisdiction over her. Well, that might be, but you know who does have jurisdiction? I think this trial will be over soon enough, just got to prove Mrs. Lludd innocent then take ‘er in myself. Well, when I say take ‘er in myself I mean Big Bloke pens the chicken in for us.

Manager No. 4

Northern Ireland is very beautiful. I don’t think I’d want to retire here, but it is beautiful. Isle of Mann, not so much, but I’ll leave that to 5. Me and 44A have been seeing the sights. Now it seems like 5 wants me and 44A to find him a brass horn. Apparently that will put an end to the case and prove Mrs. Lludd innocent. Once she’s out of IRIS’s hands we can take her in for a nice hot cup of American coffee. That’s the plan anyway. Now all we can do is hope Manager 5 is as good of a otherlawyer as he always told us he is. I’m not so sure though, seems like if he was such a good otherlawyer wouldn’t he have been higher up in IRIS?

That's all.
