MR. LADOUCETTE CASE NO. 2
I’m not sure how I feel being called a “beloved basement dweller.” Kind of harsh, A.I. It’s not basement dwelling when you have roommates and an apartment, you know. To be fair, before all this Cafe stuff, I wasn’t really doing much or getting out all that often, mostly just playing WildStar, so… I’ll let it slide this time. Anyway, A.I. grabbed a feather from our new customer, and it has a Blood Signature, as expected. By-the-by I noticed that the Blood Reading lists “L” twice. I get why, but it is confusing. So, for the Leviathan reading, I’m going to start writing it as “LE.”
So, we’ve got a customer tied to Lucifer, primarily, though with a small hit on Beelzebub as well. The good news is this is a customer who’s already in our Database: Mr. Ladoucette. I’ve also gone ahead and added a feature to our CaDComs that lets us update Case Names, so A.I.’s “SHANKY AND SHADY MCOWLFACE CASE NO. 1” is now updated to be “MR. LADOUCETTE CASE NO. 1.” We should probably use this sparingly so as to not get confused, but it’s good for cases like this where we figure out who the customer is after the first few receipts.
Anyway, Mr. Ladoucette, better known as the Duphon, is, as A.I. described, an Owl with a sword. The CaDCom database doesn’t seem to have much on him beyond what a quick internet search provides. The only additional info I was able to pull up is that the Duphon’s official role is that of an animal tender for Lucifer. I’m guessing that might be how he’s calling the Chupacabra into the Flipside? Though, it seems like he’s hanging around DeForest Park, right? We could probably pay him a visit. He is supposed to be able to speak, at least according to his file. It could be a good excuse to try out the transcription feature on the CaDComs in any case.
