Summary of Receipt
Romano’s rumour seems to be true. As they get closer to the Spire, the demons seem to be more panicked. As for their plan for getting back home, they intend to find Eurydice - the mythological one, that is, who might have some sort of knowledge of how to escape the Necropolis. Orpheus would have been best, but he might still be Flipside helping to set up the Gossamer Ballast. Black Coffee also starts thinking about the chances of them trying to just use the Spire’s portal, especially since being in the Necropolis is already affecting them.

It seems that the rumor Romano picked up in Lashedlet is true. There is a certain panic washing over the demons of the Necropolis. Out in the Eclipse Ring, it’s more so hushed whispers of something happening. A few more alarm bells in the Discovery Ring seem to be ringing. And as we’ve crossed into the Crossroads, there is open talk of some horrible catastrophe happening near the Spire. Seeing as we’re already headed to the Script Ring, we might as well see if they know anything else about this impending doom.
Our current plan is to find Eurydice—the actual person, of course. She might have some knowledge of a way out of the Necropolis, all things considered. Though the demon Eurydice might be nothing like the mythological Eurydice. But she should be somewhere around either the Script Ring or the Dawn Ring. Orpheus would’ve been our first pick of Necropolis escapees—apparently, there’s a good chance he’s currently Flipside helping set up Mistress’ latest Nightclub. We might still run into him, which could help us find our way out.
Of course, as we push closer to the Spire, we’re getting closer to the Labyrinth that guards the entrance of it. While it’s probably not a great idea to go into a Demon Prince’s Labyrinth, we might need to weigh our odds of making our way through there against how much time we’re killing up here. Speaking of killing, everyone except Galao is starting to feel a few degrees colder. There’s definitely a certain chill of death washing over us. So, I guess the best we can do now is push on before we start pushing up daisies.
