I had a weird dream last night. Weirdly enough, I felt like I should make a receipt about it. I’m guessing it’s not that, uh, typical for employees to make receipts about their dreams, but I figure that it might be worth mentioning because of my, you know, second sight thing. Maybe it means something, or perhaps it was just a weird dream. I’m kinda hoping you can tell me, haha.
So, dreams aren’t really that fun to read, so I’ll skip all the weird stuff and just get to the important parts. Towards the end of my dream, a massive figure cloaked in a sort of fog or mist and spoke to me. It said something like, “Do you remember me?” And I think I said no because it responded, “Of course not. Good. We can start over from the beginning, Jennifer.” And then it reached out to me and touched my forehead, and everything got really bright. Then I heard the same deep echoy voice in my head, and it said, “We have plenty of time to become reacquainted.”
Then I don’t totally remember what happened. I feel like I was out of body watching myself. Not that anything interesting was really happening. Then right before I woke up, and actually this is the thing that woke me up, I heard the voice again, but it was softer and sounded like it was coming from, you know, sort of outside the dream, like the voice was in my room right next to me, and it said: “See you again soon.” And that woke me up real fast. Of course, there wasn’t anyone or anything in my room, but still... it felt so... real. I’m worried that it might be one of our customers messing with me. It seems like something Mrs. Umbra would do. Then again, I’m really not sure. I don’t remember anything besides those few things it said to me, and then I was just watching myself, I guess. I feel like I’m missing something, obviously, but I have no clue.
