Down, down the river Styx, let’s have a looksee,

Big Man Bart is choppin’ down an umbral-tree.

One chop, two chops, chop, chop, three,

Down, down the river Styx, will come that ‘ol sealed-tree.

Old growth leads to new growth, and this’ll do the trick

One chop, two chops, chop down that old Devil’s Pick

Bloodgoode, Bloodgoode, walking by the sea.

Watched Bart get his skull cracked down by that ‘ol birch-tree,

She let herself get swept off her feet and swept off to sea,

Next went Theodosia down the drain,

Followed by Parthenia full of pain.

After her Jethro would ring the death knell,

And, as expected, Lazarus died alone in a cell.

Enoch passed away from a broken bone,

Antionette died as an old crone,

And after she went Damaris all alone.

Yet strange and clever Solomon struck a deal,

With young Abner at his heel.

Eddard had plans of his own,

And Ursula sought a forsaken throne.

Malachi and Magdalena both took the snake’s bite,

To join their brothers in their Ouroborian plight.
