Summary of Receipt

Employee 611 is quite confused about a mysterious Tweet on the CaD’s Twitter account, signed by ‘9’. It’s likely not the 9 they know of, John Doe, so that’s suspicious. He suspects it’s Bartlett. 53’s also sent a slightly worrying message, but 611’s waiting for her to send a full receipt first.

I'm sure you've seen by now… "the moon isn't right." Whatever that means. While I'm not 100% sure myself, our Twitter feed seems to have been hacked. Or hijacked? We have quite a few customers who can do that, like Mr. Cold, Mr. Frederick, Mr. Hyer, and I'm sure customers like Gameshow or Rem could as well. It seems like it was signed by a "9," though. Which is… strange. For obvious reasons… strange. Very strange. Not that we haven't seen that number used before… but it's been like 20 years since it was last seen. Though I don't think this is from "9," I think… well, just call it a hunch for now, but I think I know what's wrong with the moon. Or part of what’s wrong with it, anyway.

While I don't know if he knows how to Tweet, there is our very strange new customer, Mr. Bartlett. Whatever he is. The only reason I mention it is I did some searching around, and people are claiming to have seen strange lights in the sky all over. Maybe that's why the moon isn't right? Maybe Mr. Bartlett is somehow involved in "this," whatever "this" is. I can tell for certain the boundary lines are off. I can't say much about boundary lines as it makes for poor Diner discussions, but once I know the full extent of this lunacy, I'll bring it over to the Cafe.

I asked around the other Cafes, and it seems like everything is more or less normal in Long Beach, things are the usual amount of strange in Florida, but I did get a troubling response from 53. Well… troubling as far as I can tell. Sometimes it's hard with 53. But she said:

"BIG NO BONES DAY OVER HERE. THIS IS NOT LOOKING GOOD. THE MOON ISN'T THE ONLY THING THAT ISN'T RIGHT. AAAAAAA. But yeah, no things are not how they should be. What's up with you??"

So take that with your nightly cup of coffee. Still waiting for 53's response or maybe even a full receipt from them.
