Summary of Receipt

Employees 44B and 512 restore the Darn Defiance’s memories, likely though 512’s blood powers. Manager 0’s 15th Sphere memories, however, were lost. 512’s not part of the DD, and they haven’t restored Manager 5’s either since his loyalty is uncertain. Still, they will need him if they want to fight Mammon - he’s their strongest fighter. Manager 0 decides to do a test of loyalty. 44B’s dead-man switch with 26 is apparently still active as well. Also, Leviathan, Despoina and Manager 0 are secretly working together to locate the Antekey before worse people get it. The Sunkenman somehow also survived. Since Despoina’s an Olympian god, she uses her blood to activate the Pearl and lead the way to the Thunderbolt, guarded by Dolos/Miss. Guile. Mosi’vego also sealed the other two Elders away. Lastly, Manager 0 tells Leviathan to let Asmodeus and Beelzebulb that ‘things are back in motion’.

Always assume I’m in the loop. Yes, I have some of my memories back thanks to Katherine and Nick. Unfortunately I am unable to recover my memories of the 15th Sphere. Otherwise, I’m more or less caught up, at least concerning Operation Diner Diner. We were also able to fully recover Felix and Jenni’s memories so the whole gang's back together again for now. Katherine doesn’t remember our memories, as far as I know, and it’s better for now that she is not a part of our Defiance. Felix, Nick, and I have been discussing it and it would seem she is being used by outside forces. To what end, I can’t say yet, but we need to keep an eye on her. We also have yet to recover Jericho’s memories. I want to trust him, I do. But last time we let someone new in we almost all lost our memories. Still. Jericho is our strongest member and we need him on our side if we are to take out Muldra. I’ve devised a test of loyalty and if he passes we’ll let him back in. Also for consideration is Seth. Nick is right, he’s the next logical choice if we all were to fail, but for now I think we will continue Nick’s plan of having a deadman’s switch on this.

Now that all of that business is settled, it’s important to figure out where we’re at. With most of my memories back I remember why we’re after the Antekeys and thankfully with Nick still on top of things we have one piece of them. Nick and Jenni are set on finding the next one along with Nikki. Splitting Nikki up from Jericho gives Felix and I a chance to spend some quality alone time with him, plus I think the three of them could use a vacation. What I wouldn’t give to have the same opportunity.

Ah, also, I never added my report in for CD-ENO03. That coffee was perhaps too hot for a CD. Most of it can be summed up from this transcript.

Desponia: He escaped, didn’t he?

8: Your brother? It would seem that way.

Des: Figures. Does he have the Pearl?

8: Didn’t seem like he did.

[8 showed the Pearl to Desponia]

Des: Ah, well-

[Leviathan entered Desponia’s chamber]

Levi: Of course you’re here.

8: Just keeping tabs. Thank you for dealing with the Sunkenman.

Levi: Oh, so now you remember.

8: Not entirely. Your siblings are to thank for that, by the way.

Levi: Belphegor, no doubt. So you are once again aware of our agreement? And you have it then?

8: Ta-da.

Levi: Excellent. I would take it but I feel you would just find some way to steal it back from me.

8: Always. And what of the Elders?

Levi: Gimcrack resealed the Alkahest and the Ape is in the Black Tide. Won’t hold him for long, but long enough to keep him out of the picture until the Antechamber is opened.

8: How’d you manage that?

Levi: He came to collect his prize and I gave it to him.

8: You are ruthless when you want to be, eh? Well, thank you for dealing with him as well.

Levi: Speaking of, something is missing from my plane. Your sticky fingers once again, [8]?

8: That… wasn’t part of my plan. Jackie took it.

Levi: Of course. Jackie. She does love to steal things, doesn’t she? As long as it is in safe hands I couldn’t care less. I can’t open the forsaken thing anyway.

Des: [8] give me the Pearl for a moment.

[Desponia cut her palm open with her nail and placed the Pearl in her blood, to which the Pearl glowed, she then handed it back.]

Des: There we are. The Pearl is now awakened. It will take you to the Thunderbolt. However, now that it is awakened it will draw more attention than it did before.

8: So you consider three Elders to be little attention?

Des: Relatively speaking, yes. I have spoken with Dolos and the Thunderbolt is well hidden. From our enemies and unfortunately from us as well. I tried to see if he would be lenient, but apparently you already used your one favor.

8: We can handle it, better to have my memories back than an easy route to the Thunderbolt. Leviathan, make sure to let Beelezbub and Asmodeus know things are back in motion when you get the chance. We’ll take care of getting the rest of the Antekeys.

Levi: And Mammon, does he know things are back in motion?

8: He shouldn’t. But, he does play a good game.
