EMPLOYEE NO. 62
DATE: 1-9-2020
FILE REFERENCE: C-TCR02
TOTAL: $05.19
Hey everyone, itsa me 62 here, and I ran the letter that 35 found through our OS Sampler and did some other OS-techy stuff to it. I picked up a pretty clear OS Signature of:

-4.23L -0.002M +13.12677S, 0B, -10.32BB, -3.322L, 6.2235A 0E 0EE 0EEE

Those are some pretty strong numbers across the board. Tossing out the E's, the B, and the M as per usual, we can see that this customer was not a great person in life, died tragically, and ended up in Hauntaurskald. So probably a boogieman. Unfortunately, all the previous CaD OS-Databases were destroyed in... well, fires, so I can only cross-reference the ID against our current ID collection, and I'm not getting any hits. However, considering the state of the letter, it's addressed to a "J" specifically, and the general vibes of the OS Signature... I'd guess Miss. Ojai.

Miss. Ojai was/is a boogieman who specifically targeted CaD 2/Manager No. 1 following the defeat of Padre. He is one of Padre's more sycophantic boogiemen, from what I understand. Perhaps our presence in the former Open Doors church has drawn his ire? He was presumed dead after the Fire Siege of 2003. However, according to what records remain, he was "killed" and/or "presumed killed" in the Flipside. That means he could technically be rezed as himself again. But that's hard for even Princes to pull off, so why would a boogieman be able to do it? I mean, high demon? Sure. Boogieman? I have my doubts. It's more likely he just survived via his Fire Teleportation powers, which makes him pretty hard to kill.

Now I'm sure Manager No. 1 doesn't want to dredge up this old grudge over nothing, and for all I know, I could be wrong. But, still, as a precaution, until we know who sent this letter and if Miss. Ojai has indeed returned, no lighting fires of any kind within a few hundred feet of the Cafe. Ojai's primary ability is Fire Teleportation and general Fire Manipulation. As I know them, his main terms are he can come to Flipside through fires, and water banishes him. So, it might be wise to keep a few buckets of water lying around, and I'll see if Manager No. 5 knows anything more specific about his terms like the when and where.
