Wow! How thrilling, electrifying, and downright galvanic! A Yale in the Flipside! Now that is a rare sight. For those unfamiliar, Yales are a cryptid species known to roam between the Thorn and Olympic Valleys. They’re not particularly remarkable overall—large quadrupeds with rotating horns and sizable tusks—but due to their size, scarcity, and general temperament, it’s highly unusual for one to cross over into the Flipside by accident. I suspect this rare treat is largely thanks to whatever incomprehensibility or otherwise unconventionality is occurring with the boundary lines.
To be honest… if this is the type of cryptid we’ll be seeing, I could get used to a slightly weaker boundary between us and the Otherside. On the other hand, it also seems that the line between the Flipside and the Between has weakened as well. Frankly, I’d rather avoid those visitors if possible. But oh well—at least I get to see a Yale up close!
As for its service, it should be fairly straightforward. Yales are attracted to coriander and cardamom, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it caught a scent of those at the Fred Meyer. No matter—I’ll use those spices to draw it toward a nearby portal to the Thorn. Normally, I’d drop it off in the Olympic Valleys, but… well, I like to err on the side of caution and deference to the Princes. I’ll leave it to Beelzebub to decide if she wants to keep the Yale or send it along. The only hiccup in the plan is… where to find a portal to the Thorn. This Yale slipped through a weak point in the boundary, one I doubt we can replicate reliably. Any thoughts, Corylus or Prunus?
