Subject: Bingo Cult

Zehhurozzm is dead.

It would appear that the Bingo Cult has discovered an alternative means of ending an Elder’s life. A means by which they do not require Warden’s unique resonance powers. As if they weren’t dangerous enough. Judging by the state of Zeh’s Congeries, he didn’t go easily. In fact, I’ve noticed a handful of his “weapons of last resort” have been fully spent and destroyed. Any one of them should have been enough to stop the Bingo Cult. But to have so many of them fail? Either Zehhurozzm had been greatly exaggerating his power*… or the Bingo Cult had been downplaying theirs.

Of course, it goes without saying that the heart of Netzach is missing. By my count, it is the only one of his artifacts that was stolen. I helped myself to a few of his other treasures as they are no good to him dead**. None of them will do any good in stopping the Bingo Cult, clearly, but it may be useful to have the Monas Hieroglyphica plate, the Black Athame of Aleister Crowley, Nostradamus’ Scrying Mirror, the chalice of the Witch of Endor… Actually, I wonder if the chalice could be used to commune with Zeh***?

It is a hollow victory to finally one-up the Primordial… “Ape.” Though… having seen his corpse, I can’t help but feel bad for the bald, cerebrally oedemic, megalomanic baboon. When Warden kills an Elder, it has always been a much “softer” affair. A quiet whisper of eternal life fleeting away… The Bingo Cult, on the other hand, gave no dignity to Zeh. His bloody, mangled corpse was not a pleasant sight. I dearly hope that replacing his eyes with bingo balls was necessary to the ritual of killing an Elder; otherwise, it is senseless, arrogant cruelty. I suppose now is as good as time as any to go pay my respects to that boisterous baboon, not that I can change what is coming.

*I doubt it.

**And I am sure he would have wanted me to have them.

***Maybe. However, upon further footnote reflection, I don’t really want to speak to the ghost of Zeh. I didn’t much like speaking to him when he was alive.
