Summary of Receipt

17 lists all the information he knows about Tudor’s Mirror. It’s the mirror used in the ‘Bloody Mary’ myth, allowing Mrs. Tudor to enter the Flipside similar to the terms of a boogeyman. Except that she’s not a boogeyman. Which means that the mirror has to allow interdimensional travel. It’s very likely that the mirror, when complete, can allow Miss. Augustine to be returned to Eden without actually opening Eden itself. Of course, since Bartlett has that power as well, he could possibly do the same. However, that’s definitely a last resort - far too much could go wrong.

Now we have been consumed with finding a way to fix this Mirror lately, but has anyone stopped to ask what the Mirror even is? I am saying that one Pandora's Box for another isn't exactly playing things smart, eh? I've tried to ask little Dover what the Mirror is, or was, and he seemed pretty adverse to the topic, so I've decided to do my own research on it. I can't say I have any definitive answers, but I've got a pretty clear picture of what the Mirror could once do. Take it all with an extra sip of coffee, of course.

Firstly, we know this much: the Mirror once belonged to Bloody Mary, a Blooded Demon socialite of the Hauntaurskald. Now I doubt I need to explain Mary's "game." Legend has it if you say her name three times in a pitch-black room while gazing into a mirror, she will show up. Of course, what she does when she shows up is up to speculation. Now on the face of it, this sounds like a boogieman's terms, but she is no boogieman. This, to me, implies that her Mirror was what allowed her access to any other mirror Flipside, Otherside, or elsewhere. It would also explain why the game would work for some and not for others. It was up to Mary's discretion. I can't possibly speculate on WHY Mary would play this game other than some sick Hauntaurskaldian fun, but I can guess the game no longer works without her Mirror. I have certainly been trying to get her to show up to no avail.

Interdimensional travel is undoubted quite the power. And a Mirror that allowed her to traverse dimensions almost instantly… Well, now it becomes clear why Dover is so eager to have it fixed, eh? I assume the Mirror, in its whole state, could show a reflection of Eden and thus could send Miss. Augustine back to Eden without the need of actually opening the Eighth Plane. A clever solution, if the Mirror was still intact. We also know that Dover broke this Mirror and inexplicably has dimension-bending powers. It shouldn't take a genius to put together that Dover's powers are related to the Mirror. In fact, Dover's ability to swap one dimension's reality for another is very similar to the shattering of a mirror, eh? Different shards reflect different truths.

In any case, further research must be done. But I believe there is a chance that Dover could use his dimensional shifting to deal with Miss. Augustine. Though that would be a last resort, I imagine. Too much could and probably would go wrong. Then again, we are running out of time.
