Zehhurozzm is aggravating. Last time I saw the Ape he was working for the Dark, around December of ‘18 if I remember correctly. Good to see he is still as callous as ever. Although, if I were in his shoes I’d probably be callous too. Must be hard being immortal. We were keeping our distance but due to his telepathic abilities he found us relatively fast. CaDComs can’t transcribe telepathic thought so I’ll do my best to sum up.
Leviathan has something the Ape wants. Leviathan will give it to the Ape if the Ape can get the Pearl for him from Carleton. Pretty sure the Ape doesn’t know we have the Pearl. Wants us to stay out of their business. Leviathan chose the Ape specifically for his unique spatial-temporal abilities, similar to why Umbra recruited him. Didn’t say what Leviathan has that he wants but if I had to guess, Leviathan has the Mechanism. Haven’t seen it since our dealings with the Dark, but it makes sense that it would’ve washed up on Leviathan’s shores. While the Ape having the Mechanism would be bad… I think Leviathan having an Antekey is worse. Good news is we can kill two birds with one stone. Or a sea-serpent and an ape.
That's all.

Well… that was intense. Always humbling to go toe-to-toe with another warper. It was like a Nolan film, we were fighting and jumping through space, through dimensions. I mean, I’ve read about the other known warpers before like the Ape and Miss. Slon, but actually fighting one? Wow.
I am exhausted.
Of course, his powers are way stronger than mine are. I just have boundary-line manipulation abilities thanks to the whole getting trapped in the Otherside ordeal. The Ape, on the other hand, drank the last drops of the primordial soup granting him immortality and as he evolved over eons a whole range of serious Elder powers, most notably spatial-distortion. It’d be great if we could somehow trap him in the Black Tide, but I don’t even know if the Black Tide could hold him. At least he usually keeps to himself unless there are “prizes” he desires on the line. Once you live long enough I suppose that’s all that can really matter.
He’s definitely one of the more terrifying Elders out and about. Thankfully he wasn’t explicitly after us… this time. He more or less just wanted us out of his hair. Well. He doesn’t have hair, but you get the point. 4 said he’s probably after the Mechanism which Leviathan probably (maybe?) has. I don’t know, that’s more of 4, 5, and 6’s thing. All I know is I need to work on my warping after a well-deserved break.

Well now that is an Elder I can say I have not yet had the pleasure of havin’ a rumble with. Obviously, circumstances are dire, but a stamp is a stamp in my ‘lil Elder hunting book.
Not so bad if I do reckon. That’s 2 outta 6 flushed, and 5 outta 6 fought. Although, I suppose you could say there was no need to fight Rem and Complexico hardly counts as a “fight” but still, you don’t see Elders all that often! If ‘n I can, I might see if Team 1 or 5 needs some extra assistance now that we’ve “dealt” with the Ape so I can get a few more for my list. Although I can’t say I’m too eager to tango with the ‘hest.
I do say “dealt” loosely seein’ as we just kinda let the feller go on his way. Although we weren’t fixin’ to start somethin’ with him either. This was just one of those good ol’ fashion shoot the rodeo type deals as 26 would say. Lotta “lookie here what I can do, don’t mess with me, I’m an Elder.” type huff ‘n puffin’. They do love to do that, but I reckon we could flush that overgrown ape if we really wanted to. But that’s not what we’re here to do, is it? We’re here to make sure Carleton and Shamu don’t go sinkin’ all of Louisiana over a little Pearl that neither of ‘em have.

If you don’t count Complexico or Rem, that’s the first like real Elder-Elder I’ve ever seen. I guess I kinda knew in the back of my head that Complexico or Rem could EASILY wipe out the Cafe at any point but I just can’t take Complexico seriously and I don’t think Rem would do that. This is the first time I’ve seen a customer who could wipe us out without a second thought. Kinda… scary. Like, scarier than most Misses.
I guess, sure, the Princes could also take us out pretty easily. But I mean, the old-old CaD banished Satan, and the old CaD went up against Beelzebub. And when we went up against Al Crow and Beelzebub there was this sort of… understanding. Or, I guess, rules. Decorium. Precedent. I didn’t get any of that same feeling from Zehhurozzm. He could kill any of us at any time and there’s NOTHING we could really do to stop him. The only thing standing between us and him is his apathy towards us. He’s a megalomaniac, sure, but he doesn’t feel the need to kill us because we aren’t even considered sport to him. He isn’t working FOR Leviathan, Leviathan is practically working for HIM. I… don’t know if I want to know what conversations go on behind closed doors between Elders. I don’t even know if Elders talk to one another. You’d think with how long they’ve all been around they at least know each other. At least the worst of them are trapped in the Black Tide. Let’s keep it that way.
