I’ve been messing around with my Augur powers a bit. Not the emotional ones >_> but the future-telling ones. Well, actually, I think they might be one and the same? Or they’re at least pretty closely linked… I tried all of Hibiscus’ suggestions, dreams, tarot cards, and poems, but nothing was really sticking x_x. But then I felt… something strange. Something external. I felt a wave of some strong emotion, and when I concentrated on it, I was able to write something down that didn’t feel like I wrote it, which is what Hibiscus and Peppermint have been looking for, I guess? So here’s my… I don’t know, prophecy? O_o
“Look at this wonderfully whirly and twirly flame which I’ve conjured! Heh, this magic stuff is simply too easy. And to think they thought I couldn’t do this, that I couldn’t manage it all on my own. But who has fire at their fingertips now? Huh? HUH! Huh…? Are the flames spreading? Oh no. No, no, no, no, NO! Crap, I can’t stop them—Oh god, oh god—they’re creeping up my arm. Okay, don’t panic. Just pump a little more protection into the spell to keep your clothes and skin from burning—Oh no. Oh crap. This flame feeds off of magic. I’m literally fueling my own flames. Oh no—oh no!! OH NO! If I stop feeding into the protection wards I’ll probably die, or get seriously burnt, but to put out the flames I need to stop my magic. Ah… they were probably right, weren’t they? Oh god… I should not have messed with this stuff. Now what? It’s not like I just go outside as a living flame. Could I? No. No… no, no, no. It’d be too weird. Weird enough to catch their attention for sure. And if they figure out where I am—what I took from them? Oh god… no… God probably couldn’t help me out of this one. He can barely keep them under control as is. I guess I could just sit here until the flames go out. My magic can’t keep these flames fed forever. Can it?Weird enough to catch their attention for sure. And if they figure out where I am—what I took from them? Oh god… no… God probably couldn’t help me out of this one. He can barely keep them under control as is. Oh! Maybe I could just go take a dip in the bay. Water beats fire, right?”
