Gross. I hate dealing with Black-Eyed Children. They’re so… ugh. Creepy. They look at you with those big soulless black eyes, and they UGH they touch you with their cold dead little hands. GAG. I hate it. Seriously. At least they are pretty easy to kick around, so long as they don’t group up on you. They really are used to being fought head-on, either, so that at least makes it a bit easier to deal with them. Their whole shtick is to try and get you to let your guard down so they can… I don’t know. Kill you? Steal your blood? What do Black-Eyed Children want anyway? Seems like everyone just uses them as annoying little weapons.
Anyway, I tried to put on a good show for the perving A23 agents. I made sure to draw out the fight, take a few falls, and, most importantly, made it clear that the battle by the Hollywood sign was crossed off in our books. Hopefully, that gives those losers the confidence to keep committing whatever war crime they’re up to now so we can go stop it. And by we, I mean someone else. I did my part, and I had to smash a lot of nasty demon kids today. That deserves a break or something.
On the topic of their war crimes, there is seriously something wrong going on at the sign. I only heard it once or twice, but I could’ve sworn I heard like crying or screaming. And it wasn’t the Black-Eyed Children. They were making more like a growl/snarl/hiss/screech sound. The crying sounded more like… like fear. Directionally I’m pretty sure the sound was coming from below me, but it was hard to tell. Anyway, I’ve got Children of the Corn to wash off.
