Uh... that was... weird? I think? I'm not really sure what happened, but uh, it happened. Me and 8, or uh 3, we went down to get a closer look so 3 could see if Mrs. Kay's claws were made of metal or something similar. Then Mrs. Kay jumped at us, and my arm marking started to glow, and it seemed like Mrs. Kay was pacified by that. Like she just couldn't attack us, she was very calm... almost friendly even. It only lasted for a minute or two before my arm marking stopped glowing, and Mrs. Kay was back to being agitated but she was really only vicious towards 3. I tried to get it to glow again, but I couldn't, so we ended up having to run.
So... Somehow I must be connected to, at the very least, Mrs. Kay, but maybe the Otherworld itself? Or maybe just cats. I've always been a cat person. I mean, Occam's Razor tells me that it might just be that cats like me better than 3. But the whole glowing thing, I think that has to do with the time that I was missing. I mean, I don't remember any of that, but I was gone a whole month from what I've read. Not only that but Number uh... crap, I'm blanking. It's Jenny. 16- uh 1? 161(?) says she saw me while she was dreaming. Well saw a dead me. Maybe, no, I don't think I was in the Otherworld. That doesn't make sense to me. Agh, I'm not sure. Maybe it'll come back to me, or perhaps I can get my arm to glow again.
Oh! But good news, while Mrs. Kay was calmed down, we were able to get a look at those claws, and they are indeed metalish. Kinda like polished silver, although 3 thinks her claws gotta be a mythological ore like Adamantite or Orichalcum. Cuz chances are that's what Sir. Kay's shield was made from, and that's why Cath Palug couldn't tear through it. So if we can find that metal or something made of that metal, we can cage up the big cat at the very least. I know I said I was a cat person, but all this talk about cats has been giving me such a weird sinking feeling in my stomach, but I'm not sure why. Well, one mystery at a time I guess.
