Ciel's condition has been steadily improving. He's practically back to his normal self except for his wings. Mrs. Middletown really did a number on those, probably because they're his primary source of power. Unfortunately, due to their magical properties, his wings will take some special effort to mend. It'd be less of an issue if we were in the Morningstar, but he's still in no shape for interdimensional travel. So, I've been researching ways we could speed up the healing process in the Flipside, and I think I've found just the thing—Squonk Snot.

It's gross, yes, but from what I've read, it has amazing healing properties, especially for magical wounds and afflictions. Hey! It might even be able to help out with the Owner's eye thing? Maybe? If he'd be up for putting that near, or in, his eye anyhow. Now the problem becomes how we can get our hands on some. Quonks are very famously "native" to the Hemlock Forests in Quaker. We're not too far from there. At least we're a lot closer than any of you are. But with his wings still in a miserable state, Ciel can't fly us there, and I don't want to leave him alone if he can't fully defend himself.

So… Would any of you be able to take a quick trip over to Quaker to search for a Squonk and, you know, grab a jar of its mucus for me? While I can't say for certain a Squonk will be there, they have a tendency to end up Flipside more often than not. You'd probably only have to wait a day or two before one pops up. However, you'll have to be quick too. Poor little buddies, they can't survive for too long here. From what I've read, I don't think they survive all that long in the Otherside either. They're very… death-prone and apparently quite tasty.
