Like what a wild week huh? I think this is the first time a “C” file has been publicly released, which is like totally wild. For those who don’t know “C” just means this case file won’t be obscured by diner-speak but it's also a lot harder to access. I hope my puzzle didn’t give you too much trouble haha. 8 approved this C file based on how much was already revealed in Katherine’s post. Sooo, we’ve got a lot to talk about so let's just get into it I guess.
So first off me and No. 4 teamed up and shut down the secret A23 base under the Hollywood sign. We took out “Lab A23ZLAZP1”. One casualty that we know of in the form of Randall Rune AKA Dingane. From what we could tell that hadn’t been operating there long so we had pretty good timing. Well, like, I guess almost pretty good timing. Unfortunately, they did claim one victim while operating, a young girl named Katherine Wade. They were doing some sort of experiment to make people into immortal beings using some sort of black blood. There weren't a lot of physical files there to steal but we did get an uncensored version of the doc we intercepted plus some additional documents.
No. 1313 and 17 dealt with the Black Eyed Child sent after us with relative ease from what I understand. It seems like there is a great deal of unrest in the Necropolis. Something is happening there and like we need to get on top of that. From what uh 17 said the BEC spoke of some kind of conflict happening in the Necropolis. Sounds like someone is trying to challenge Asmodeus’s throne and that can only mean trouble. Zulu seems to have used this conflict to secure a large source of necrotic shadow blood which is the first step towards a form of immortality. Unclear if they have the other 3 ingredients or not… but they are at least starting testing with the first ingredient.
A service for Katherine will be held on Sunday, April 12th. Attendance is optional, but our new employee No. 512 will be there and she’d love to meet everyone c:
