Clue
Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: Ignore the 'Path' for now. What is 'the Roses'?
Clue 2: Look at the HPH receipts. In addition, try and link the word 'Path' to an ex-CaD member's new title.
Clue 3: What's the true name of the Pathologist?
Answer and Explanation
Answer: Brent Hearse
Explanation: Path is pointing towards the Pathologist, which is Brent Hearse’s moniker. Additionally, from C-HPH07, Mrs. Tudor says “I’m surprised this is the first I’ve heard about this. Where did Hearse find this arm?”, which implies that Brent is part of the Kings of Roses.
Summary of Receipt
Satan didn’t show up for his service today, so 512 snuck in and drained out all the black blood from Satan’s followers using a trick she likely learnt from Mrs. Tudor. She’s quite a powerful Blood Sorceress now, according to 71. Anyway, without his walking human (or demon, technically) bombs, the CaD can go back to ignoring Satan as per usual. Though if Manager 7 wants to try and sabotage the ritual either way, that’s fine.

This was easily the worst Sunday service so far. Gone was the fire and brimstone rhetoric we’ve all come to love. Padre didn’t even bother to attend today’s service, nor did his lackeys. In fact, the only ones who seemed to show up were his human weapons. They weren’t much for conversation, which I found to be a shame. What must go on in the mind of a devoted catholic pumped full of Satan’s blood? I’m sure it would be fascinating. Though I do worry that Padre’s overconfidence will one day be his undoing. Again.
With no one to stop us, No. 512 was able to make quick work of “de-arming” Padre’s weapons. A neat trick she picked up from Mrs. Tudor, no doubt. No. 512 was able to siphon out the tainted demon blood from the tourists and redirect it into herself. Now we just need to have her burn it off safely, more or less. I’m starting to think her moniker of the “Zombie” is becoming more and more inaccurate. “Ghoul” was making for a good replacement, though is she not becoming a “Vampire?” Regardless of nicknames, she is becoming quite the powerful Blood Sorceress. Hopefully, she sticks with the coffee trade, as I would hate to go up against her as a Fast-Food competitor.
Now, without a few hundred human weapons at his disposal, we can go back to ignoring Padre. Cautiously, of course. Though the decision to partake in his absurd ritual remains with No. 7, at least now, she will hopefully feel less pressured to do so. Hopefully, once Padre realizes we just undid all of his many months of work in one afternoon, he won’t attempt this same foolish transubstantiation trick again. I suppose if he does, we have a way to deal with it, and it would be easier to cut off if caught early.
