CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM 9/05/17
OWNER
RECEIPT: DEEPCORP002
STATUS: OPEN
Well, that was odd and unpleasant. Did you know in our line of work the probability of one of us getting trapped in the Otherside while relocating a customer is one in three? One in three! Considering we’ve performed that exact operation twice now is perhaps concerning.
At least the good news now is we’re insured under the Actuaries “D.I.T.Z.Y” plan, which I’m not even going to bother explaining what that acronym stands for because it is just rude. (It’s “Dummies Idiots Twits Zealots and Yankees”) The rates are ridiculous but at least in an “unavoidable and unfortunate event” we’re covered.
If you’d like to activate your insurance plan make sure to call the Actuaries office and tell them your Employee Number. And for some weird reason, we also have to specify that we are the “Broadway” Cafe. Maybe the old Cafe is still in their systems?
Thankfully, along with the insurance plan, Mrs. Nancy gave me a Hotel agent’s direct phone line. Not as high up as I was hoping to get, but I’ll take Hotel over Yankee any day. So now I’ve just got to get in touch with agent “California” and see if they know anything about this “Deep Corp 23.”
Most likely to die in a fire,
