At the beginning of the month, we started looking at ways to expand our menu to include some after-dark Cocktails in addition to our standard Cafe and Diner food and drink. The first Cocktail added to our drink menu was a Ginger, Nutmeg, Olive, Sprite, Ice, and assorted Spirits Cocktail named Quartz Brain.
I was able to create a successful ratio for the Quartz Brain Cocktail, although it currently won’t be a permanent fixture on the menu. Good for a one-off drink if you’re used to the strong and bitter taste. Quartz Brain usually follows with a splitting headache and double vision.
By default, the drink is Hawaiian Styled, but with the use of certain coasters underneath, the appearance of the drink can be altered. There is still some work to be done in figuring out which coaster matches which theme. Instead of making a bunch of drinks and getting wasted, I’m opting to see if I can’t figure out the themes by doing some more research into previous Cafe and Diner recipe books, even if they are hard to come by.
Current coasters are “Ot,” “Z,” “*T,” “B,” “L,” “<3=”, and “Triangle,” which are not very interesting names, so I’ve named them “Green Tea,” “Electric Daisy,” “White Tea,” “Hot Chocolate,” “Ice Water,” “Black Tea,” and “Red Tea” based off of how they taste and look.
I’ll get back to taste-testing in a few days/weeks, and I’ll update you all then!

Summary of Receipt

4121 writes an official recap of the Quartz Brain Cocktail research. It's able to allow the user to see into the Otherside, but gives a really bad headache. It's also possible to use certain sigils in combination with the Cocktail to see specific Planes, and 4121 decides to do more research in the old receipts to narrow down which sigil links to which Plane.
