Mr. Hyer has also ordered a milkshake for Brunch, but this time has shared it with me. All is well with the wife and kids and they will be staying with their grandma down south. Seems unwise to offer Mr. Hyer Juice seeing as he’s on a special diet. Although, he made it clear that he was interested in booking a Lunch reservation with me. Up until our Lunch reservation Mr. Hyer insisted upon chewing his bubblegum. Eggs were scrambled and his accent was still hard to place. Offered to share some home-fries and bacon with me. What follows is our Lunch conversation.

Mr. Hyer: "I have seen you watching me. I've been watching you."
323: "Why have you been watching me?"
Mr. Hyer: "You are like me. We are like one. You know, what I know. And I know what you know."
323: "I don't think I follow."
Mr. Hyer: "Oh but you remember the fire. I remember the fire. You smelt the smoke. I smelt the smoke."
323: "A lot of people did. How are we alike?"
Mr. Hyer: "We are both afraid. I've been sending you warnings. Did you not get them?"
323: "I don't think we have. What warnings?"
Mr. Hyer: "Your playlist. You did not arrange it. I did."
323: "I see. Let me check that out."
…
323: “Ah. Okay... That’s not good.”
Mr. Hyer: "She's already here. She just got in."
323: "If she's here, are the others also here?"
Mr. Hyer: "She has old friends and new friends. Deep and dark down below. Many friends are waiting there."
323: "Who are her new friends?"
Mr. Hyer: -silent-
323: "Can you tell me?"
Mr. Hyer: "That’s enough chatter. He’s already listening in. Don’t you see him too?"
