611 isn’t exactly convinced that Bartlett will be able to protect him from the Hauntaurskald, what with Satan now ruling and Cain’s Sevenfold Sect still causing issues. He asks others to join the expedition and help out.

Why… am I Dover's… favorite? Did he ever… elaborate? Or… you know what... it doesn't matter. He's a strange guy, and I probably shouldn't look too much into it. If I had to guess, he just picks numbers at random. Unless he has a specific reason, I'm his favorite? But, I mean, you'd think it'd be like No. 53, or 2312, or 17, or any of the managers. Why me? I'm… just… regular? I don't have any remarkable powers. I'm not terribly skilled in anything outside of dowsing. Maybe he's into dowsing? Or boundary lines? Ah. Shoot, I said I wouldn't focus on it, and here I am, falling down a deeper rabbit hole than No. 161.
So… Dover wants me to go with him to the Vile City to see his sister. I mean, I'm flattered, I guess? That I'm his favorite and all. But am I the best choice to go to the Vile City? No, probably not. Those Hauntaurskaldian Demons would chew me up and spit me out in a heartbeat. I guess Dover would protect me… unless it's all a weird joke? Ahh… I don't know. But reading No. 6's receipt yesterday gave me major chills, and I'll do whatever it takes to help get that thing out of their basement.
Of course, the Hauntaurskald is even more dangerous now that its true Prince is back. And for those keeping track, Satan does not consider the Cafe as buddies. We're still definitely friends even if we did let him back out. Plus, the Sevenfold's are probably still causing problems throughout the city unless Satan really cracked down on them. But I'm guessing they aren't too happy that Cain isn't still in power. However, I should try to see this as a positive thing. It'll give me a chance to map out the Vile City a bit and see some of Hauntaurskald's geography. Dover said anyone could tag along, and I would really appreciate someone else who isn't Dover. No offense to Dover, just, well, I don't trust him with my life entirely. Again, flattered to be his favorite, though.
