Bloody. Hells. I figured if I’ve done it once, I can do it again. You know what was different for a nickel and dime round the serpent? We bloody forget the cobbler’s awls! So I had the pleasure of keeping both Friday and the bloody Grunches busy all day. Worst part? I didn’t even get a sexy eyepatch this time ‘round. Well. That’s not totally true. I did score an eyepatch, and I am wearing it. You’re welcome. But my eyes are fine. Friday said his usual cryptic nursery rhyme nonsense, but this time he also had the Grunches chimin’ in ‘bout fire and brimstone and painting with blood and fear and all that.

Here’s the interesting bit, though, you know how Friday is usually the one chasing us ‘round the house ‘til it’s Friday again? It feels like I was the one doing all the chasing. He was focused on something else. I think he was looking for something. Smart thing we had one of the other Managers take the Pearl… but I don’t know if he was looking for the Pearl, choice? Friday was right focused on tearing down every single painting he saw. Every. Single. One.

So, assuming he didn’t find his picture, we should probably find it first. Oh, and the chuffin’ Grunches got away. I know, I know. I’ll see about hammerin’ the tack with Big Guy. But if you wanted them to stay put maybe, you shouldn’t have left me alone with them and the most clingy boogieman out there, choice?
