I just got a weird text from the Owner. It sounds like the case with IRIS is done and that both Cafes are receiving some sort of “punishment.” She didn’t say what our Cafe’s punishment is in the text, just that we should get ready for some extended guests coming in next week. Uh, that has me worried. I really hope we aren’t going to have more weird Angels hanging around the Cafe. Or, you know, worse.
And after spending another entire day cleaning the back, still no sign of Friday’s eye yet. I’m starting to wonder if it actually rolled away? Or maybe it somehow got lost in Dive? You’d think we would have found it by now, especially with all this extra cleaning we’ve been doing lately. Also, I found a weird note while cleaning up. I think it was from the Angel that took 2213 and * to IRIS, but I could be wrong. Here’s what it said:
“Broadway Cafe and Diner,
It was good to see you all again. Even if you might not have recognized me in my current state. I do wish our reunion was under less dire circumstances. I am very proud of how you have continued to conduct yourselves, even in the darkest of hours. It takes a lot of restraint to not want to set the world on fire, even when given the match to do so. I cannot say how things will turn out from here, but I will do my best to line the stars in your favor. Consider it a final farewell gift.
