STATUS: ON-THE-ROAD

On the advice of Florida's H.R., we're heading to the City of Champions to find "Mr. Hinds," aka the Witch of Hinds Road. I suppose the good news is we probably won't have to search too large of an area to find them. I may not have the same geographical knowledge that 11411 has, but… I'm guessing that Mr. Hinds can be found on, well, Hinds Road. Unless that's a misnomer.

I've been checking out the area with some satellite views. Hinds Road appears to be a pretty spooky backroad just outside of the city. I suppose that would be the best place for a Witch to hang out. Not that I know too many witches, to be fair. Maybe it's a stereotype? I don't know, the only Witch we've had any prolonged contact with in the past was the Baba Yaga, and she was nasty fogie. I'm sure this Witch of the Hinds is a bit nicer. Or at least a little less outright evil, I'd hope.

Here's what we know about the Hinds Witch: she is a witch of Beelzebub, she lives on or near Hinds Road, urban legends point toward her scaring people, she is also described as a "Spirit." Now I haven't been able to find any evidence that she would be a Mrs., not a Mr., so that's good at least. I'm assuming she only scares people away so they leave her and the general area alone. Or maybe she does it for fun? I don't know. I'm also not sure about the whole "Spirit" thing as, to my knowledge, witches are typically still living, and spirits don't "exist" like that. The closest known thing to Spirits would be Shades, and I think it'd be pretty hard to mix up a Shade with a Spirit. Then again, the Baba Yaga wasn't really "alive," so maybe it's a witchy thing. Or was she alive? I don't know. It's hard to keep track of when she constantly kept coming back to life, no matter how many shovels to the head I gave her.
