Summary of Receipt
H.R. and New Guy eventually give up their gifts to Big Guy. They also find Manager’s gift, though strangely New Guy gets another gift afterwards. H.R. expresses doubt that they can keep dealing with the gifts, either through the sheer quantity of gifts or the quality of them eventually. She also wonders why Payroll didn’t get one, since she’d be more vulnerable to a cursed gift. The gifts have also started to be signed by ‘the Gift Man’.

Well, it wasn’t easy, but we were able to get New Guy to part with his special gift. Sure, he scream-cried for a good 30 minutes, but I’m sure it’s better for him to not have a pair of cursed overalls. Besides, we all think he looks very handsome and very normal without them. I also gave up my dreamless pillow to Big Guy for safekeeping. If any of us can resist the temptations of these gifts, it’d be him. We still need to work out ways to destroy these gifts, but Big Guy has them hidden somewhere for now.
We also were able to find The Managers Gift yesterday. Thankfully, I don’t think he ever saw it. I was sort of expecting a gift for Payroll today, but instead, New Guy found another gift addressed to him. Maybe because we took away his first gift, the cycle reset to him? I don’t know why Payroll would have been skipped. To be honest, and like no offense to Payroll, she is a lot like the Manager. I’m sure she could be pretty easily tempted with a cursed gift. I think she might even like that it was cursed.
I am… concerned about how much longer this will last. Even if we continue to diligently give our gifts to Big Guy, it won’t take long before we are overrun with presents. Not to mention if someone finds a present they can’t resist. We know that the presents are supposed to be “better than the last,” and that doesn’t bode well. Especially if Big Guy is correct in assuming these are more like curses. Oh yeah, when I gave Big Guy the Manager’s gift, I noticed it was signed “from the Gift Man.” So, I guess that’s our customer. Now we just need to figure out who this Gift Man is.
