Summary of Receipt
Apparently the CaD’s monetary situation isn’t as good as Barista assumed. Manager suggests getting Nom de Plume and IRIS to foot the bill instead, and questions whether or not only Hoffmann and Gemini will show up. If they all do, it would be an all-hands affair, which would leave the ‘Colonel’ unprotected (i have no idea whether or not that’s an actual thing or just the Manager’s rhyming slang thingy). Also, having a reanimator of toys in a toy store would be very risky.

Well, that is certainly one way to do things. Bloody expensive way to do things. How would that even work? Giving Hoffmann a whole store full of potential weapons seems risky. Then again, this might be the only way to get him to show himself. Well… even if we all go quids in, this'll still cost a Derry and Tom, choice? I reckon one way we can offset some of the price would be to get me brother in on it as well. Hell, I'd like to try and get the Society to foot most of the Jack and Jill. Clock how much they really want this Mechanism.
As much as we are all in the bloomin’ buff Frank Bough, most of my Bread and Honey is tied up in pensions. Payroll would have to ask 'er parents, which could Scapa Flow either way. And the Big Guy and H.R. inherited their wealth and, for the most part, have been tryin' to make it Past and Present. And I reckon New Guy doesn't have a hidden trove of treasure. But the Society has pretty deep Apple Pies, and my brother would have an easier Nickle and Dime getting some of the Myerscough fortune into his German Bands than mine. Especially if he frames it as an expense of the Society, choice?
Suppose we do go with this plan, and it's not a terrible plan besides its cost. Do you all reckon it would JUST be ‘offmann and Gemini? We might be able to handle Gemini now, but we don't know what this ‘offmann heap o' coke can do. Plus, what if the Best of the Dark shows up? It'll have to be an all-hands affair. Though, drat, that would leave the Colonel unprotected, wouldn't it? Hmm… we might need 'im with us, but maybe New Guy could hold down the fort, yeah?
