CHEESE AND CRACKERS! THAT BOY IS STRONG! Nobody told me he was a magic-user! And such a powerful one at that! Holy smokes!! Literally, smoke! Things were getting pretty dicey with that Sandman, and I guess Carajillo was worried things were getting too dicey, so he let out a searing firebolt! BOOM! Hahaha, have you ever seen a Sandman on fire? I have! And, sure, okay, one firebolt not too hard to conjure if you know your stuff, but he just kept going! Boom! Boom! BOOM! He was sparking the Sandman up like it was a roman candle.
That’s not even all! Once the beast was on fire, Carajillo hopped down the sand dune and started fighting it right alongside me. He can hold his own in a rouge cryptid fight, I’ll tell you what! He had this one move where he lit his fists on fire. Gee whiz, I’ve never seen something like that before! And then he clocked that Sandman right in the jaw. I bet you it was seeing stars after that one. It should sure teach it to come over here and eat people! Are we sure this kid is even human? He’s like some sort of demon with magic like that! I mean, we need to get this kid some proper magic training ASAP. He’s a gosh dang prodigy!
Anyway, despite the brutal way Carajillo handled the Sandman, we didn’t end up killing it. We’re not monsters. Well, gee, maybe he is, I don’t know. But we sure weakened the daylights out of it. By the time Lungo showed up, the Sandman was still smoking and unconscious. Anyway, Lungo opened up a rift in the boundary lines, and we chucked the massive beast right back where it came from. All in all, I’d say it was a raging success. And I’ve gotta have Carajillo show me that flaming hands trick because boy, that was something else!
