Oh hey! Happy Friday, the 13th!

I ended up meeting with Sophie again today. She gave me a new piece of equipment and has steered me in the right direction for my first "customer."

So this new piece of equipment she called it an "Osa," I think? Er maybe, uh, O.S.A... I'm gonna call it uh... The Tester Tool. Yeah, "The Tester Tool" works. Apparently, that's what it's supposed to do anyway. It tests supernatural energy readings, according to Sophie. Basically, she described it like this, when supernatural stuff shows up, it brings with it trackable energy. It's called "blood" by a lot of people, but it's not like our blood. Not like a liquid anyway. I think it's more like... uh spores? I guess it's like a powder that hangs in the air. I'm not really sure why people call that "blood," but who am I to argue with them. Maybe it's extremely similar to blood. I guess I'll find out soon enough!

She told me about a house that had been visited by a real-life Demon earlier today, and she wanted me to go and get a sample of its Blood. Now do I think demons are real? Well, let's just say I'll need to be convinced first. I guess there's no better way than to check out this house and see the evidence for myself! I think it'd be pretty neat if there were real demons. Neat and scary. Maybe more neat than scary. Or vice versa? Not sure yet. Sophie assured me that this "demon" had already left, but apparently, he left a lot of damage. I'll make a report tomorrow if the little Tester Tool actually picks up anything. I've been trying it out all over my apartment, but it hasn't shown anything besides zeroes so far. Guess that means my apartment isn't haunted, though!
