Kiresezas… Huh. Another ancient race of Eden Protodemons. One of sixteen—if Gideon is to be believed. Though I suppose it would make some sense, wouldn’t it? If Gilzers, Mesoslums, etc., are genuine refugees of a pre-Fall Eden, perhaps each rewinding of the Universe creates another… iteration, for lack of a better term, of the same group. Or it could be entirely unrelated. Though sixteen is a very strange number of Protodemon races to be wandering around out of Eden. And, with the return of Eden, would it now be seventeen? Mm…

While Blackwood’s theory that the Sebitti are actually Kiresezas is interesting, it has yet to be proven. I suppose some further research—or perhaps the spilling of secrets—could pull that curtain back further. If only Belphegor would stop putting off her return, we could simply ask her. But, say that the Sebitti are Kiresezas, that could give us the advantage we need in stopping Fenrir and his cult. I’m not sure how yet, but their ties to Eden, if true, could be a rather unique weakness.

Regardless we need to focus on our present task, heading to the Crags of Paramnesia to find the fifth Sebitti. Thankfully it seems like it is not too high up in the Crags and rests closer to their base. I doubt we’ll encounter any Mesoslums along the path, though if we do, perhaps we could inquire about the Kiresezas. Most Mesoslums are far less sinister than Morpheus was. At least, I hope that is true. I’m more worried about running across Fenrir. Should I see him face-to-face, I fear I won’t go easy on him.
