I think Dover’s really on to something! If the ward Mammon set up in his private cache only checks for the rough size and shape of something, we could easily make a forgery of the second Sebitti. I think that’s a lot easier than just trying to smash the ward and hope for the best, anyway. Can you “smash” a ward? Or would you have to dispel it? Despite being a Blackwood, I know very little about the ins and outs of magic. I guess that’s what I get being born after we were “taboo.”<br />

Not that I need magic! I’ve got a little reality-warping demon and a 50-dollar gift card to Michaels. Me and Dover will pop back over to the Mammonsoleum so we can take some educated measurements of the Sebitti, and then we will do our best to match its shape and size. I asked Dover if weight was important, and he said, “I dunno.” Not super helpful, but I don’t think weight would matter. A lot of Mammon’s treasures are pretty heavy, and the Sebitti, if it’s anything like the one we have here, is pretty light. Plus, if the ward is weight sensitive, it could go off with us just being in the room without Mammon.<br />

Though, as Dover mentioned, the ward is apparently very old and a few months out of regular service. Mammon was never one to really keep up with any major security. I’m not sure if it’s because everyone was too afraid to steal from him or if it was more interesting to him if there was a chance that his treasures might be plundered. If I were a Prince of Hell, I’d get pretty bored just sitting around all day. It’d certainly add a bit of spice if one of my underlings could potentially steal some of my trinkets. There’s no fun if the mice have no chance to evade the cat, is there? I mean, if Mammon really wanted to, he could’ve dealt with all the demons in the Infernal Caverns too.</span></div>
