It talks about the creation of the Spheres, how Bird created the Light and separated it from the Dark (not the group), and how he created the Sky ruled by the flies (beezebulb?) and the Sea ruled by the Leviathan. Also, the Land is apparently ruled in the East by Bird’s daughter and the west by Bird’s sons. Umbra then continues accusing Bird of creating inequality and talks about allying with the Shadows (the Everdark?) and rewriting fate - or perhaps Fate.</span>

Do not listen to the words of men

For they are creatures born in Lies and Sins

In the Book written by His agents, the Truth shall guide the lambs lost to the complex of man.

In the beginning, there was only the Dark.

The Bird, in His hubris, brought the Light.

Light only casts a darker shadow.

Bird felt the Light to be good and separated it from the Dark.

This created inequality.

Then He created inequality between the sky and ocean.

The sky is ruled by the flies, and the underneath Leviathan shall sleep.

Then further inequality between the ocean and the lands.

The east ruled by His daughter and the west by His sons.

And so it was.

Then the Bird allowed inequality between those with and those without.

In the seat of power, the rich shall reign.

And those who lack are forced to repeat their lives again and again.

These were not children of the Bird.

These were the children of the Dark, those born to the shadows cast by the Light.

Most terrifying of them all was,

The Dark.

I’ll write the rules red.

I’ll raise the damned and the dead.

I’ll make deals with the shadows.

I’ll conjure demons no one even knows.

No one can stop me from rewriting fate.

Not even 8.
