I can confirm that #1313 was right. Somehow Mrs. Aka is up to her old tricks. I’m not sure how exactly, but she’s definitely been spreading her conjunctivitis around town. Nasty. On one of my nightly patrols, I came across a man with a serious case of pink eye, and it looked like the infection was fresh, which I can only assume means that Mrs. Aka was still in the area. I didn’t see her directly, though. But I know she’s around and playing her game despite clear indications that she shouldn’t be allowed to.

I tried to converse with the tourist, but he was pretty badly shaken up. From what I could extrapolate from the poor guy, he played twenty-one questions with Aka a few hours prior. Judging by his eyes, they were up playing late, and he must’ve lost. The guy didn’t seem to know any particular details about Mrs. Aka, who she is, where she’s from, or who she’s working with. It seemed like he had already got his daily dose of coffee and was convinced that the whole affair was part of some hazing ritual gone wrong.

We need to stop Aka. I mean, that much is obvious. Though I can’t sit by and let her spread her nasty eye gunk around to helpless tourists. So, I went over the Owner’s head—sorry—and I got in touch with another set of eyes. I’ve let them know everything we know about Aka and only Aka, and I told them where they could find this red-eyed tourist for questioning. If anyone can put a stop to Aka’s unsupervised games, it’ll be the Indigos as much as I hate to admit it. And I know, I know, we really shouldn’t be inviting unwanted attention to our operations, but I gave it my usual spin and blur.</span>
