	<b>Ugh.</b> I <i>hate</i> writing Diner Receipts. No. 3 still insists I show a little more "decorum" for anything public-facing, even <i>now</i>. I don’t get it. Realistically, you all know I type like a horrible little goblin. You see it all the time in my Cafe Receipts. Who’s going to read this that won’t also see those? Well… I guess No. 3 is thinking about opening an archive for the Patrons of the Cafe and Diner. She wanted to do something similar back in the Third Cafe, but we never had the time. Anyway, we’ve got a strange blank book that needs reading, and a strange (in a good way) newcomer to the Coffee Trade who I suspect can read it. Yep, it’s that simple. No. 1124 just has to read the book and—well—it’ll be read. They already had a cocktail of sorts stashed in the freezer at Brent’s nightmare shop, so… yeah, I think they’ll be able to read whatever the book says, even if it looks like it says nothing at all.

That’s the first rule of dipping your bar spoon into the murky world of mixology. Which, by the way, is very distinct from the more pedestrian hat tricks, thank you. Mixology is all in the mind. And maybe a bit in the Astral. The point is, just like how I managed to cheat my way into Second Sight, No. 1124 just has to cheat their way into reading this weird book. Look past the blank pages. Look past everything. Read like there’s something to read—and if there is, I’m sure they’ll find it.
