However, they’ve started to see ‘Quebec’ - the Otherworld. Here the location analogy falls apart because apparently the Otherworld is ‘making its way across North America’ right now. ‘Now’ being spatial or temporal is currently unclear, but it’s likely temporal. So basically, for now, the Otherworld is crossing into the general ‘North America’, i.e. the Other/Flip sides. Nom de Plume are going to time travel ahead to see if it’s still there in the future. I think.</span>

Well, once again, the powers that be (Manager No. 3) has requested a Diner receipt for the sake of record-keeping and, to quote, "make sure I still know where the shift key is on the CaDCom." Well, YES, I do happen to know where the shift key is. I just feel I do not need to abide by its cruel dogmatic oppressive syntax, William Strunk Jr. be damned. It also saves a lot of time just type. Have you ever considered that, J?

In any case, regarding yesterday's C-QZBEB04 receipt, it would seem we did get a prompt response from Pendragon's Bistro. It was literally a few minutes after I published the receipt that I got a new response post-dated a few weeks from now. However, it took me a good day to figure out what exactly they were trying to convey to me. I do not think a Diner Receipt is the "easiest" way to describe this kind of information, but alas, the monkey paw curls its wretched finger J. Your wish is granted but at what cost?

So what about that letter? Well, basically, if we think of ourselves as "America" and above or below us (depending on where you stand) is "Canada" or specifically "Ottawa" Then, "Quebec" is sort of this other province of Canada, or similar to it, that is slowly making its way across North America. So, if we are here, and let's pretend that over there is over there, we can see Quebec today, and they can see Quebec tomorrow. It will be like a Venn diagram, except it will result in not two circles with an overlap but one big overlapped circle. Again, I have to pull my punches here because this in the Diner, but I hope I'm getting my point across. I'll try a different metaphor if it's not. Like a ship out to sea, we've crossed into a storm. There's currently no indication that the storm will pass us or continue to follow us from here on out. John also made it pretty clear that if it is to be a passing storm, we do not want to keep a bunch of rainwater with us when it passes as it could sink our ship. So we need to bail that rainwater ASAP just in case. John said they were going to see if they could sail ahead and see if this storm does indeed pass or not, but, well, due to the nature of how our ship is built, there's only so far ahead they can sail before they end up back where they started.

So what does this mean for my new cocktail? Is all hope lost? No, it should still be fine. We just need to find a way to see through the storm. You know, like a dark 'n stormy maybe. Which also happens to be one of my favorite cocktails. So, I'm going to see if maybe one of the more, you know, tea-drinking managers can take a swing at this info. Maybe 6 or 1. 'Til then, I'm not gonna try and see up into the storm because I don't want to drown in an unforeseen downpour.</span>
