	I think the Cafe received a letter? Or maybe it’s more of a message? Hopefully not a threat. Or something like that. I’m not sure. A weird message popped up in the book I was reading. 	I… feel like this HAS to do with the Society, right? I mean, it’s signed “John Doe.” That’s a pretty clear nom de plume. And aren’t they supposed to be able to communicate through books or something like that? And it seems like whoever this John Doe is, they wrote this message achronologically. At least, as far as I know, we don’t know who or what “the Ape” is. Though this could also be a trick. The way in which I’ve been searching for the Mechanism pieces does open us up to non-locals butting in. Well, at least this John Doe said they’ll be in touch in person, right?
