Right, well—as much as I'd love to come in and say how much progress we've made in shining the Isle of Wight on the Dark… damn it, I don't think I can. Gemini is out, which is great… except Gemini was brought in by 'offmann, yeah? 'offmann could always make someone new to fill in their slots, simple as. 'offmann. Rob Roy, he's a Maerlyn Rees of Kathy Burke, ain't 'e? Used to be an apprentice of Ottawa's greatest tinker, Gehrels. But 'offmann nicked a Robin Hood and Ian Beale of his Mae West blueprints and has now gotten in with the Dark. Worst among them is something called the "Nutcracker." Some sort of "weapon" Gehrels was working on for 'er Lady of Lust. Why she needs a weapon like that is beyond me.<br />

So… Umbra, Aka, Pleasant, 'offmann… Cannon…? Maybe? That's knock at the chuffin' Dorothy Lamour or Jack's Alive of 'em, with three newcomers ready to pounce. One of those newcomers is likely someone outta the bloomin' Society… which is right dangerous. Florida's been stayin' with us, all reformed like. Gross. Even beaten and bruised by Umbra and the like, he's still a nasty piece of work, choice? I don't like 'im stayin' here one bit… but he wants to help stop 'offmann and Umbra from putting together the Nutcracker. Friend of my friend is my friend… that doesn't sound right, does it? Point is, he's welcome to help… so long as he keeps his little felts off of my stuff. Not that what 'e 'eaven and 'ell wants is 'ere anymore, anyhow.<br />

On the bright side of things, the chuffin' triple helpin' of gooseberry puddin' are hard at work with their scryin', tryin' to track down the pieces we Kate Moss-ed so we can 'opefully figure out where Umbra and his hoppin' pot congregate. If we can just do that… I reckon we can get the upper hand and then some. No more worrying about what 'appens when they show up at our doorstep; we can show up at theirs instead. Or, 'ell, we don't even have to do all of that… just need to let the right people know where to find 'em. Put a certain set of 'eavenly indigo eyes on 'em. I don't like it… I don't, but Jordie *would* 'elp us out if I asked really nice like.</span></div>Ducklord
