Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: Why is this particular one errored out? And what is the error?
Clue 2: Have you been reading some poems, penned by the lovely 1313? Some Weird Things Can be found in Threes.
Clue 3: Have you been following the excellent game between the Dark and the Floridian Cafe and Diner? The B-side is quite illuminating, especially the last one.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: The Other Otherman
Explanation: In SWTC03, 1313 wrote, "So take, if you must, the man who is Other, Turn the coins over, and you'll see Another." In CX-TRG06-B, Zeuzitzum (better known by the moniker Indrid Cold), while debating about how to deal with another 8, says "Another 8. Or, maybe I should say an other 8." before he goes on the fritz, but still lucid enough to say "Otherman. Other Otherman." before losing lucidity. From both those clues, we can safely guess that Other Otherman is the phrase we're looking for.

Summary of Receipt

Manager 8/646/Jean - future Owner, Manager 323 (Lucy/Lucifer) and Maanger 340 (Felix) found the First Cafe. Manager 8’s hiding his memories from the 15th Sphere and sharing ‘only what [he] felt they needed to know’. (jean’s from the 15th Sphere, the previous ‘reality’ - see Otherworldly Adventure’s CD-KIF03 and DD-LUX01 for more info. He used something called the Pocketwatch to reset time and is now here.)
AND RECEIPT
RECEIPT NUMBER: CAD000
RECEIPT DATE: X X 19XX
MANGER NUMBER: X
RECEIPT NOTES: I am prone to meticulous note-keeping and journaling. However, seeing as mon amour and my trusted associate have decided to embark on this joint venture with me it only makes sense to have a system of joint note-keeping. Of course, I have informed them of our most unusual of circumstances regarding the timing of our business. Felix was easy to assure but Lucy, ah Lucy, she was of course filled with questions. I’ve done what I can to play ignorant to the obvious, but I am unsure how long I can keep her out of the loop. Some may think it foolish for me to air these thoughts in any form she could discover, but let’s be honest, my mind is already an open book to her.

Speaking of, these receipts will need to be encrypted. The problem with more conventional means of encryption is that most of our customers can see through simple mathematical tricks. We will need to employ a system of puzzles, riddles, and logic along with more standard ciphers to ensure that most customers cannot breach our receipts without proper permission. Mon amour has already shown me what does and doesn’t keep our customers out, of course, there is nothing stopping the more intrepid from working out our little puzzles.

I suppose for now while it is just us, I see no reason to establish any formal rules among partners. However, I will set one rule which both of you should find more than reasonable. To prevent certain prying eyes that are fixated on certain keywords and are utilizing errata-based meta filters under no circumstances shall you write, type, think, or speak the number. In context or out of context it doesn’t matter. The usual substitutes are acceptable. Worst case I’m sure they’re already reading this. Or have read this. Or will read this. I’ve never been too sure how it works.

Of course, I haven’t told them all that I know for fear of changing what will become. Things should be different this time around of course, and already they are, but I have only shared what I felt they needed to know and nothing more. Even I don’t fully know what to expect from this new adventure, but anything is better than our old one. That reminds me, I will need to craft a receipt Number 1 as well with… less of what I’ve said here for obvious reasons. I fear the most challenging part will be acting as if these ideas for the Cafe and Diner are new to me, instead of just nostalgic fun.

One day we can look back on this and laugh. Or cry. Whatever suits the mood.

Yours eagerly again,

The number that always follows after 7
