			<span style="font-size: 20px">'Old wood’ turns out to be Felix Blackwood, former #71 of the First Cafe. He apparently dealt with both cults and curses in the F.C., which made him a good person to ask for help. He, 8, 224 and 125 find 134 but do nothing cause Felix wants to observe some more. 134 seems to be drawing strange sigils. Felix also senses Crow’s arrival, and 8 realises Crow’s plan is to lure out 224.</span>

			Sorry for such a late update. I would have made it sooner, but we ended up taking the last flight out of L.A. towards our destination. Just haven't had the time yet to sit down and type this one up. I did end up knocking on old wood, and old wood knocked back. It's been about twenty years since he's served coffee, but he probably knows how to brew it better than any of us. Not to mention this kind of problem is right up his alley, as I understand it. Back in the original Cafe and Diner, he dealt with both cults and curses alike.

			So, anyway, like I mentioned, ex-71 and I took a quick flight over to Buckeye and managed to meet up with 125 and 224. We've been keeping our distance from 134 for the time being. Ex-71 wants to observe him a bit longer to see if it's the amulet or something else causing 134's strange behavior. So far, we've just seen 134 gathering some odd supplies around town and digging in strange spots. He's also been drawing lines in the dirt, which could be sigilistic in nature. Whatever it is, it looks like a ritual to me. I couldn't say what it's for. Not yet anyway. That and rituals and magic have never really been my "thing." Thankfully, to our knowledge, he hasn't tried to capture or operate on any "creatures" yet. Perhaps that is what he's preparing for? We haven't told ex-71 about our research into that yet, and while I think he might be a good resource for that kind of research, I'm not sure what he would do if he found out that's what we were working on. So for now, let's keep that to current staff only, yeah?

			Hang on. Ex-71 just sensed something strange. Some sort of strong presence. That must be Crow. He's here. Not sure where he is or how close he is to us, but he's definitely here. 224 and ex-71 are going to go do a sweep of the area to make sure our presence hasn't also been noticed. I think Crow is just here for 134, though. But why? What is the planning? And why 134? He's not... well, I don't want to say "special" because that would sound rude. But if Crow was going to take any of our staff, I think he would want 224, considering... Well. Wait, hang on, maybe that's the angle here? To lure out 224? Crap. Oh crap. That's probably it. I've gotta go warn her and ex-71.</span>
