Hey everyone! No. 71 here! I’m also on the Dover search committee with No. 7 and the head of NdP, Nine. Why me, you might be asking? Well, turns out that part of my dimensional charging powers is that I can kinda open gateways to other Cycles? Which is…. Uh, pretty freaking rad, if you ask me. Though, don’t get TOO excited. My powers have always acted like a lightning rod, not lightning itself. I’m no Seth Warren. I can’t just open these gateways when and where I want. I need a catalyst and our catalyst this week is the enigmatic Nine. Something, something, magic books as far as I understand it. Well, that’s what Nine says anyway. I have a feeling he actually has powers more of his own than just his magic-y books.

Anyway, today we stopped off in the board-controlled Cycle of Dive City. Now, I did spend a whole year here before, so I think I know this place pretty well. Our main target here was obviously Edgar Lane, a.k.a “The Phantom Lane.” His whole deal is that he can enter the Phantom Lane (thus his name) whenever he wants. He can also take other people to the Phantom Lane. I don’t know. If you’re confused, just go read up on it in what No. 161 dubbed “Devil Will Drag Us Under.”

So there is good news, and there is bad news. Good news! Dover was here. So when Edgar tackled the little weirdo into the Phantom Lane back in… what was that… December? Or, well, technically November, I guess. Anyway, when Edgar tackled Dover into the Phantom Lane, Edgar offered to take Dover to his Cycle to quote-unquote “hang out and stuff.” So Dover’s actually been here in Dive City for roughly a few months. I don’t know the actual time distortion between our Cycle and their Cycle, but I think things move a bit faster here… so maybe four-five months? Bad news… we just missed him. Dover apparently was fed up with Pixel calling him various names and KICKING him, Hitmark using him for target practice, Bangboozle planting false evidence on him, Blazebug putting out flaming gnats on him, and Pascal trying to EAT him. So where is Dover now? No clue. However, Nine’s “mechanism” thingy was at least able to get a trace on Dover though it’s not like a point on a map or anything. We are dealing with intercyclical travel here. But apparently, on tomorrow’s stop, Nine believes we should be able to run into someone who can interpret his mechanism’s reading. </span>
