Howzit?

Been a while, huh? There sure are a lot of new faces mixed in with the old. I can’t say I missed the Cafe and Diner all that much, it does feel, I don’t know, “exciting?” to be back. Even though this isn’t a real Cafe and Diner. Maybe that’s a good thing, though. Maybe, now that Jean-Marc isn’t here, you might be interested in helping out with my side project? No more world-ending this, heaven and hell that—just helping little buddies get home.

I know, I know, we’ve got business to deal with first, but maybe once we’re done, I can take you all to… well, it was called Eden, but it seems that name is back in use. So, maybe I’ll call it Paradise now? I’ll have to see what Ciel thinks. Anyway, it’s a little sanctuary back in my home where we’ve been keeping lost cryptids and getting them ready to go back to their homes. You know, like the Cafe was “supposed” to be doing? Of course, I know there were newer Cafes down the road, and I’m sure you guys did a great job getting as many cryptids as possible back into the Otherside. However… I also know Jean-Marc wormed his way back into the picture. And where there is Jean-Marc, there are always ulterior motives.

I guess it’s an open invitation. Anyone who wants to help out in Paradise, just let me know. I know a lot of you would be really good at it. It’s basically the Cafe and Diner without the constant “other” stuff. No one dies. No one is used. No one gets hurt. Plus, you get to play with cryptids all day! There’s nothing better than playing a bit of fetch with a pack of chupacabras as the sun sets over Molokaʻi.
