I’ve made significant progress on the locator charm. I’m reasonably confident that it could work at this stage. Nothing is ever 100%, of course. Though I don’t mean to hedge, dears, I am confident in its construction. Of course, there is still the issue of equivalency. We’ll need a powerful magic user to wield the charm. I’d offer to do it myself, but I am nowhere near as strong as a Marquis of the Amaymon. So, the next logical person would be Lungo, but he is out with the boys hunting Mrs. Helm down. Of course, I’m certain Galao or Red Eye would have more than enough power to lend to the charm.

There is one other issue. I fear this locator charm is far from stable. There are a few possible side effects or unexpected outcomes to using it. Firstly, I expect the charm to shatter once it is within a few feet of Mrs. Weyer. Nothing I can do about that. It could disrupt the holder’s magical energies or Mrs. Weyer’s magical energies when it shatters. This could mean a temporary lapse in your glamor or Weyer’s glamor. So, it would be wise to not use the charm in a tourist-heavy locale. Speaking of…

Black Coffee has tracked down this week’s Marquis Masquerade event. It’s being held on Catalina Island. The event starts at 4 P.M. tomorrow and should run until 4 A.M. I’d wager it is almost a certainty that Mrs. Weyer will be either in attendance or checking out security before the start of the event. As long as Galao or Red Eye is nearby around 3 or so, the locator charm should show the way to Mrs. Weyer. There also shouldn’t be too many tourists around. And those tourists that are around? Well, they are probably coffee drinkers.</span>
