Well… That was crazy. All of that was crazy. But… I think I’m starting to get it. Get the whole “tulpa” thing. There was always this lingering question over “how” the Dark was able to get in contact with it despite the original Owner being dead. I’ve got it now. Not that it’s anything, well, important, I guess. Just another footnote among the footnotes. What is important is that Aplut is gone. Though, I can’t say with confidence that she’ll never be back. No. There’s always a chance a bright idea like hers could shine through again.<br />

What I still don’t know—not entirely, is what “deal” the Tulpa made with the Dark was. I mean, it’s fairly obvious that part of the deal was commissioning her a body from their demonic toymaker. A body that would let her become more than just a forgotten thought of the original Owner. It probably would’ve worked, too, if she had been more mentally stable. I guess that’s always the problem with Tulpas; they are almost never made with good intentions and a clear mind. But… what did the Dark get out of it? Out of all of this? Besides wasting their time.<br />

The Tulpa had a “copy” of the original Owner’s Eight. It wasn’t actually the Eight, but it was a… well, it was a negative version of it. Suppose there are eight very distinct things, right? If you put them in a room but then take them out of that room—you can almost sort of “see” where those things were meant to be. The absence of them. At least, that’s how I think the whole Negative Eight thing worked. <i>Wait.</i><br />
