Huh. I did not realize there were cities in the Necropolis. Or, let me rephrase that, cities outside of the Five Rings of the Spire of Night. We've come across a small town on what we believe is the outskirts of the Eclipse Ring—Lashedlet. The demons here are a strange bunch, and they seem to come from across all of the Rings. The majority seem to be of some religious order, though I can't tell if they are devotees of Asmodeus or someone else. You'd think if they worshipped Asmodeus, she'd let them live inside the Rings with everyone else, right?

Thankfully, the kind demons of Lashedlet have provided us with drams of moonlight that will let us see without needing Carajillo to guide us. They also gave us some modest lodging for the… uh… well, I don't think the Necropolis has night, does it? It's all night, always. So, we've got lodging for a period in which we plan to sleep. Also, Lashedlet isn't even the only town outside of the Rings, though it is the only town on this side. If we were to head in the opposite direction from Lashedlet, we'd find ourselves knee-deep in the Everdark Pits. So, it's a good thing we stopped stumbling around in the dark.

Furthermore, I've picked up quite an interesting rumor from the Acolytes of Lashedlet. Apparently, there is a growing discontent among demons in all of the Rings, but especially those closer to the Spire. It might be something worth looking into, seeing as we have to head that way regardless. While this situation is certainly unexpected, it is an unparalleled opportunity for reconnaissance of The Plane of Lust's inner workings.</span>
