I have found the concept I was thinking of yesterday—psychography. Or a variant thereof, in any case. Psychography, also known as automatic writing, is a technique where one allows themself to act as a conduit for a higher power to write through. Angels, High Demons, Elders, and any manner of sufficiently powerful entities can take control of humans to convey messages through psychography. In a way, it is similar to what Mr. Unknown was doing to C.C., though instead of writing words, they were writing dreams.

Now, I mentioned that what I plan to attempt is more of a “variant” of psychography. I would like to attempt to pen a prophetic poem. Instead of allowing myself to be controlled by an outside force, I want to tap directly into the threads of Fate itself. While the risks of doing so are minimal, it can be quite easy to get… “hooked” on the threads of Fate. Intermingling directly with the unseen fabric of the Universe can lead to seeing patterns where there aren’t any and an urge to continue to prophesize, accurate or not.

Assuming I am able to tap into the threads of Fate at all, it is a risk I am willing to take. Not just for the sake of the Cafe and Diner. Though if it does work, I am certain it would be a boon for the Cafe. No, I’ve wanted to do this since I began my journey into the supernatural realm. I finally have a reason to do so, a purpose, and that is key to successfully tapping into the threads of Fate. As I mentioned, there are slight risks involved. Death, possession, and madness are the worst of them. However, I have been building and perfecting my Astral Doppelgänger for years, and should something happen, they will take the brunt of the damage. Though, if things do truly go south, it was very nice seeing everyone again.</span>
