No. 5: Old? Thanks. No, you’re right—Metatron is a kid himself, or so they say. Eternally youthful. Some epithet—N-na’ar? I think? Point is, in picking out some humans to be his chosen few they inherit his eternal youthfulness. Jordan stopped aging around… 7? Holy number and all. ‘Course, mentally, he’s somewhere between an undying Angel and 25 or so. Still—he’s the youngest Indigo Brat, far as I know.

No. 5: Not sure. Maybe. Though I reckon he is like you in that regard. Elderling is the proper term. Not quite an Elder, but close enough. I mean, Astrid, Viktor, Hachiro, and Jordy weren’t the first batch of Indigo Brats, and they probably won’t be the last.

No. 5: Who knows? If there are others, they’ve done a good job staying hidden.

No. 5: No. No, you did not. Higher powers often seem to think it’s the highest blessing to bestow on a mortal. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be. If it was, they wouldn’t hand it out without asking first.
