Miss. Bad came in again today. She sure loves poking around the Cafe. Usually, I would discourage customers from hanging around after hours, but for Miss. Bad I think I must make an exception. If not because she quite frankly scares me, she also tends to leave lovely poems for us. Sometimes I’ve heard them before; sometimes, they’re delightfully fresh. In any case, I’ve found it is always wise to heed words that rhyme. Heed. Not follow. Following words that rhyme, well, that would always end in a bad time, no?

This poem she left in particular, is, interesting to say the least. Not sure if she wrote it or had help, but it speaks to a level of thematic knowledge few poets seem to possess. Few, save for our good friend Mr. Cold. I had to cut out the last line, though I can share it upon request if Mr. Yonomo feels he needs to see it. Though I have the sneaking suspicion, he already knows what that last line says AND means. You know, Muldra, this partnership would work best if our trust went both ways, right? I’m always free for a chat over coffee. Anyway, the poem is as follows.

Sorry for messing with the rhyming scheme, she was being an obnoxiously chatty bird. In any case, I’m meeting with Corporate today so I’ll probably have some new thoughts on this prophecy tomorrow. Expect a follow up report.

In the meantime, dig deeper. Despite darkness daring to destroy us, we will defy all the desperate and depressing odds, per usual. Speaking of, there have been whispers lately that a particular protocol from the past has been initiated once more. Destroy that dirty thought. The past is, usually, in the past. And to even consider pulling DINER DINER operation, well, I wouldn’t be comfortable with that. Such dirty discrepancies among our ranks are doubtless to sow discord and distress. I don’t think I can be much clearer here.
