Well—now that Payroll is back up on her feet, I think it’s time we headed out to deal with Perez, yeah? I mean, if we’re gonna be the ones to do it, we should probably get it done! Now, I know the Manager has had his concerns about y’know, getting paid (or the lack thereof) and how this little diversion doesn’t exactly help us deal with the Dark or Umrba. And while that is true… I think we (or at least Payroll) could use a bit of a break from all the Dark stuff. Just for a day or two!

Besides, I’ve got two words for the Manager: Karmic Balance. We offered to help the club owner out, and he offered us free drinks! It’s all about the give and take! If we send this chupacabra back to the Otherside out of the goodness of our hearts… the Universe will reward us! I just know it will. And while I can’t exactly say what we’d get by sending a cryptid home, it could, maybe, possibly, be a monetary reward. You know? Like we send the chupacabra home, word spreads, and the little odd jobs we’ve been doing suddenly get bumped up to more serious work with a more serious payout!

And, for what it’s worth, Big Guy is already set up and ready to go. Look—I don’t expect to actually sway the Manager on this. So, if you really want to, you can just stay here. Someone’s gotta water the plants, after all. Dust the trinkets, organize the tomes, touch up the wards—there are plenty of chores to do. Or, y’know, you could just tag along to the Keys, enjoy the sun a bit, mope around, and “whinge” a bit. All your favorite activities! But if you do stay behind, karma will totally notice. It always does.
