It’s not Umbra. First off, Aka isn’t here. I’d know. Sure, Umbra doesn’t have to bring Aka along, but why wouldn’t he? If this was some sort of “Umbra and Aka mess with the new Cafe and Diner” situation, it’d make sense Umbra would go after the almighty and all-important 8 while Aka would go after me. Not only that, but I also have a natural immunity to Umbra’s nightmare behavior, remember? I don’t take his crap. But… well, I’ve definitely been having nightmares too. Bad ones. And it’s not only me, but Romano also says he’s been having nightmares too—about his “uncle” or whatever. And Carajillo, too, about some sort of exploding sun.

Weirdly my parents haven’t seemed to be affected. And if it was something big, I’m sure secret agent dork would’ve patched in to alert us. I think it’s just the people who sleep here. Like, around the peninsula. I’ve been checking in with some nearby tourists, and it’s all the same thing, nightmare after nightmare. But if it isn’t some sort of Umbra plan… what the hell is it? I guess it could be another unintended consequence of the nightclubs though I would hope Mrs. Weyer would be a little more aware of how their presence affects the tourists. Or, you know, he was lying to me. That’s also very possible.

Currently, the only thing I can do is try my best to help keep the bad dreams at bay for the tourists and whatever. But, without knowing what’s causing the nightmares, I can’t do anything specific. Plus, the lack of sleep isn’t exactly helping. Ugh. I think I’m gonna have to skip out on clubbing this weekend and catch up with sleep at my parent’s house or something. I hope Lexie won’t be too disappointed.</span>
