Seems like there is a customer looking to be served up along the Oregon Coast. A regular local, in fact, Mrs. Cannon. Er, or just Cannon. Man—that is going to take some serious getting used to. Typically, Cannon would order a… a… what's the Mrs. thing? A latte or a cappuccino. However, we're operating under the assumption that Cannon is actually looking for a cup of the blackest, Darkest coffee possible. She, er, he, or—whatever—CANNON might be the Dark's "in" over on this coast.

Cannon is a dancer, and a dangerous one at that. He probably got involved with the Dark through Aka. Dancers love to dance together, after all. But Cannon's terpsichorean nature brings along some limitations on when, where, and how he can strike. Unfortunately, he's not so famous as to have a rhyme devoted to his rules—but he's got enough details to piece it together. Has to be in a car and has to be a car going along the 101 Highway. I'm not sure if parked cars are fair game or not, but from what I've been able to find on the guy, it seems like he can as long as they are near the highway.

With all that said, Cannon isn't waiting around for us. No. He's already made a move on a car with two tourists in it. From what we've been able to piece together and from the tourists’ report, Cannon wasn't alone. He had someone else with him—not sure who… or what… but the important piece of comfort food is the smell the tourist described: sharp, metallic, rust. That same oily stuff we saw on Pedro. The mark of your guy's mysterious toymaker, right? In any case, we just arrived in Cannon Beach today, and that's what we've learned so far. We're trying our best to avoid being in any cars for the time being—but we might need to get behind the wheel to lure Cannon out.</span>
